HTC Wildfire

HTC Wildfire is the HTC Desire’s little brother. The more affordable smartphone is still super, running on Google Android 2.1 with HTC’s Sense user interface. The Wildfire offers integrated social networking so that all your favourites such as Facebook and Twitter are just a tap away. The mobile phone also boasts a five megapixel camera, HSDPA and Wi-Fi for excellent internet browsing.

Android 2.1 OS
The HTC Wildfire uses the latest version of the Google Android operating system, meaning better navigation, access to Google Market's thousands of apps and Google services such as Google Maps, G-Mail and Google search.

HTC Sense
The budget smartphone has HTC's intuitive Sense user interface so you can personalise your new phone and add shortcuts to all your favourite mobile applications whether it's news widgets or blogs. You can have all your contacts, Tweets, emails and photos taken with your Wildfire's five megapixel camera at your fingertips. Sense's Leap View allow you to view all your home screen panels at once with a tap or pinch of the screen

Touch screen
The HTC Wildfire's 3.2 inch capacitive touch screen display has bright, vibrant colours and is a responsive experience – there are even multi-touch capabilities in the web browser, maps and photos.

Social networking
Stay in the loop with all your friends with the HTC Wildfire – Facebook, Flickr and Twitter are integrated into the phone using Friend Stream so that you can easily find out what your friends and colleagues are up to. And if you want to update your user profiles Friend Stream lets you do all of them on one go.

Great connectivity
The HTC Desire has full Flash support, 3G, HSDPA (mobile broadband) and Wi-Fi providing an excellent, fast and cheap mobile internet experience. The Wildfire's web browser gives you access to internet sites directly from your phone so you can check the latest scores, train times and You Tube hits wherever you are.

GPS
There's no need to get lost with the HTC Desire. Its inbuilt GPS acts as a general SatNav device with free voice guided navigation when used with Google search and mapping software.

5 Megapixel Camera
The Android phone has a five megapixel camera with auto focus and an LED Flash. Once you've taken your photos you can store them on your HTC Wildfire or share with friends by uploading them to your blog or Flickr.

Music Player
The HTC Wildfire has a music player that supports most digital formats including MP3 and AAC. The smartphone also supports 32GB MicroSD cards letting you store thousands of tracks on the mobile phone.

Email and calendar
The smartphone's built-in Microsoft Exchange support synchs your email and calendar and allows you to look up anyone in your company's directory.
