The New Daughter

John James, a recently divorced novelist, moves into an old house in the country with his teenage daughter, Louisa, and young son, Sam. John and Louisa's relationship is strained and she accuses him of never loving her mother. While exploring the surrounding fields and forest they come across a large burial mound. Louisa is instantly attracted to it, whereas Sam is reluctant to go near it. On their first night in the house Louisa hears strange noises outside her bedroom window. She doesn't see the humanoid creature lurking close-by on the roof. The next day Sam finds a loaded shotgun hidden inside the piano in the living room. John buries it in the garden.

In town, John learns that his house is famous locally for the disappearance of a woman who lived there. Later, he finds Louisa's pet cat torn apart near the house. Louisa returns to the mound after school and, while relaxing in the sunshine, hears strange noises and cuts away as we hear what sounds like something pouncing towards Louisa. That night John finds a trail of muddy footprints leading from the open front door to the bathroom. Louisa is inside with the door locked, sitting in the tub, washing mud from her body and hair. The muddy water draining away turns red with blood (Later we find out in the film, this may be caused by the "mating ritual" by the creatures). Later that night, John finds Louisa sleepwalking in her room. When he takes her back to bed he finds a strange doll made from straw whick Louisa knows nothing about, inside of which is a dark ball containing a live spider.

The next morning Louisa comes down for breakfast wearing a short dress and make-up. When John asks her about the doll she claims not to have seen it before. When Louisa and Sam are at school Louisa is bullied by a preppy girl and once she gets home she rips the head off her doll, John finds a pile of muddy clothes in her room and, at the burial mound, the head of Louisa's toy doll along with the bloody remains of a blackbird and a nest of spiders in the drawer where Lousia's straw doll was kept. Louisa is confronted and bullied by a preppy girl and Louisa strarts eyeing the stairs directly behind the girl. He's called in to pick Louisa up from school when she complains of stomach pain and on the way in he sees the preppy girl who's arm is in a brace which cassandra says that the girl said "She fell down the stairs". When Sam's teacher, Cassandra, gives John her phone number, Louisa becomes territorial. That night, John sees Louisa emerging from the woods after having forbidden her to return to the mound. She has a rash and what looks like bite marks on the skin around her neck, and at dinner she eats in a animal manner and as though starved.

Eat Pray Love Movie

The Eat Pray Love movie is based on Elizabeth Gilbert's memoir. Julia Roberts plays Gilbert, a woman who decides to travel around the world in order to experience things she couldn't anywhere else. Before she packs up and leaves, however, she seems to have a good life. She is a writer in New York City and is married with children. After six years, she realizes she is married for convenience and she finds herself apathetic towards her kids. Gilbert decides that it's time for a change.

A woman who once made it her goal in life to marry and rear a family finds her priorities suddenly shifting in Ryan Murphy and Jennifer Salt's adaptation of author Elizabeth Gilbert's best-selling memoir. In the eyes of many, Liz Gilbert (Julia Roberts) was a woman who had it all a loving husband, a great career, and a weekend home but sometimes one realizes too little too late that they haven't gotten what they truly wanted from life. On the heels of a painful divorce, the woman who had previously looked forward to a contented life of domestic bliss sets out to seek her true destiny by traveling first to Italy, where she learns to appreciate nourishment; then to India, where she discovers the power of prayer; and finally to Bali, where she unexpectedly finds the meaning of true love.

During a messy divorce with her once supportive husband, Gilbert finds herself even more emotionally lacking. Kung Fu Panda 2 : The Kaboom of Doom

Kung Fu Panda 2 : The Kaboom of Doom is an upcoming animated film and the sequel to the 2008 film, Kung Fu Panda. It is set to be in 3-D and will be directed by Jennifer Yuh Nelson, with most of the original cast returning, along with some new characters. The film is set to be released on May 26, 2011 and was originally going to be named Kung Fu Panda 2: Pandamonium.

Jack Black, the voice of Po the Panda, announced a Kung Fu Panda sequel during the 2009 Nickelodeon Kid's Choice Awards. The rest of first films cast, including Dustin Hoffman, Angelina Jolie, Jackie Chan, Seth Rogen, Lucy Liu, David Cross and James Hong, are all set to reprise their roles. New cast members include Victor Garber, Michelle Yeoh, Gary Oldman, James Woods and Jean-Claude Van Damme.

Sang Pemimpi Movie

Sang Pemimpi menceritakan masa remaja Ikal, anak keluarga pekerja rendahan di Perusahaan Negara timah di Pulau Belitong. Bersama sepupunya, Arai dan Jimbron, sahabatnya, Arai melanjutkan sekolah menengah atas sampai ke Pelabuhan Manggar yang berjarak puluhan kilometer dari tempat tinggal mereka.

Kehidupan mereka yang menyewa kamar dekat bioskop yang menayangkan film-film untuk orang dewasa membuat Ikal, Arai dan Jimbron menjalani hidup serta tumbuh besar bersama dengan segala tantangan dan perjuangan hidup plus problematika masa remaja untuk meraih cita-cita dan impian. Semangat guna meraih tersebut kian terlecut ketika seorang guru memberikan mereka inspirasi untuk mengejar mimpi.

Balia, adalah salah satu guru di sana yang mampu membakar semangat Ikal dkk untuk bermimpi suatu saat mereka dapat menjelajah Eropa dan belahan dunia lainnya, tak peduli keadaan Ikal, Arai dan Jimbron yang saat itu ditilik secara ekonomi, mimpi itu mustahil rasanya. Tapi di saat yang sama, mereka harus menghadapi Pak Mustar yang sangat disiplin dan keras. Bertolak belakang dengan sikap Balia, Pak Mustar tak menolerir kesalahan apa pun, baginya setiap anak yang salah harus dihukum.

Dalam meraih mimpi, muncul persoalan lain. Tak sekedar masalah sekolah tapi juga cinta. Cinta Arai yang tak tertahankan pada Zakiah Nurmala dan Jimbron yang pula jatuh hati pada gadis pemurung pekerja pabrik cincau bernama Laksmi. Sementara Ikal, gairah mudanya membawa dirinya ke perasaan bersalah terhadap bapaknya yang sangat membanggakan dirinya sedari kecil.

Tetapi karena rasa bersalah itu membuat Ikal bangkit guna meraih mimpi. Satu per satu simpul kehidupan mereka buka, cita-cita, harapan dan cinta.
